There are many ways you can help —

VolunteerLearn about the sources of pollution. Some of the causes may surprise you.

Be an advocate. Encourage others not to pollute or litter.

Encourage your local governments to adopt — and enforce — tougher environmental regulations. Speak to your county commissioners and town aldermen.

Be a watchdog. Report polluters to your local watershed association.

Join the team — Be an active supporter of your nearest watershed association.

Clean upVolunteer
You can help your local watershed association with their water quality monitoring and river cleanup programs. They need you.
